Tzaneen, invites you to linger awhile and enjoy the rivers, waterfalls and dams, the villages, the roadside stalls and tea gardens, the unique range of bird species, trees, plants and animal life - to reach out and experience the diversity of many peoples and to listen to the legends and other stories associated with their vibrant history.

 

Another tourism destination is the King Waldens family gardens in Agatha. Here everyone can relax in the serene setting for a picnic. The King Walden offers superb, traditional, "colonial' accommodation with a 3 star guest house. Visitors will enjoy the original, turn of the century antique family heirlooms and african artifacts. The original homestead was built in 1904 and the gardens begun by Elsie Tooley.
